Brian Kemp, the terrible sexist governor of Georgia, does not believe women should determine their own lives or future. He’s a religious, misogynistis extremist, like many Republicans. Self determination should be a basic American right, and right now that is not available to millions of American women, and hundreds of thousands of women in Georgia. We are being told by Big Brother, in this case Brian Kemp, that our lives are for the purpose of reproducing, which is a lie that no woman should accept. Women in the US are American citizens, but we are treated worse than Republicans want to treat immigrants. We should be the determiners of our own lives. That is the basis of citizenship in America. But not in Georgia, not according to our Republican “leaders”.

The Supreme Court decision in overturning Roe v. Wade was the culmination of Republican plotting for decades. This Republican plotting resulted in the betrayal of all American women by taking away our rights.
This entire subject and this Republican behavior makes me so angry I can’t even really write about it yet without being overcome with absolute fury that this political group was able to do what they did.
Politically, the clearest thing of all to help restore women’s rights in Georgia and all over the US, is that we need to plan to elect and vote for only Democrats this fall. Yes, Midterms are coming up, and I hope my fellow Georgians realize that they can’t vote for a governor like Brian Kemp who does not believe that women are fully citizens of this country. Kemp and other Republicans like him believe that women are nothing but walking and talking uteruses, for the use of whatever Nazi-like churches he favors over women’s rights.
It would be best if women could reject religious beliefs that lead to things like taking away our rights. We have freedom FROM religion as well as freedom OF religion, and there is no place that this anti-woman sentiment comes from (to make us subservient to Republicans and men) other than some religious dogma. In this year 2022, religion is irrelevant to the lives of intelligent people. So get your dirty paws off women’s bodies, Republicans. Go pray to your “god” all you want, but keep your beliefs out of women’s lives.
I demand that Republicans return to all women our American rights of self-determination and bodily autonomy. After all . . . FREEDOM.
