Republicans have some massive, huge, ginormous problems. The number one problem is Donald Trump, who is a loathsome cult leader, but they also have people like Matt Gaetz, (apparently a pedophile and criminal) and the various racists and assorted criminals and ne’er-do-wells. Then there is Marjorie Taylor Greene, in a classless clueless class by herself. Here is what Mother Jones writes about her in a recent email:
Marjorie Taylor Greene is an undeniable, hateful troll—the kind of abhorrent human who would have already been fired from a job if she’d tried to pull the stunts that have instead turned her into one of the most notorious Republican members in Congress.
That reputation is again on full display after she literally chased downAlexandria Ocasio-Cortez through the halls of Congress last night, notably just months after a deadly storming of the same building by insurrectionists, while screaming unhinged questions about antifa at the New York Democrat. That’s a frightening, abusive workplace environment no one should be made to endure.
As I noted, this isn’t the first time Greene has harassed her Democratic colleagues either. In February, Greene drew widespread condemnation, even from Republicans, after she displayed an anti-trans flag directly outside the office of Rep. Marie Newman, whose daughter is transgender. A month earlier, Rep. Cori Bush relocated her office away from Greene after Greene “berated” her in the hallway.
Now this ugly trollish woman is accosting Democratic Congressmen and women in the hallways. She is a danger to others and maybe even herself. Is she sane? Is Donald Trump sane? I don’t think sane people who hate government run for governmental office. I don’t think sane people chase their peers down hallways and yell at them. I don’t think sane people become members of cults. Most people have internal flagging operations. You know, “I liked him but there were red flags”. So when Donald Trump asks you to follow him to the ends of the earth, most people would realize that’s a red flag. Not a MAGA flag, a big fucking red flag.
MTG has no internal flagging system. She herself is a red flag, personified. This is the problem the Republicans in government currently have – there are at least 145 red flags sitting in Congress who voted against certifying the electoral vote on January 6th, and that means they participated in the Insurrection.
