It’s hard to ignore this, it’s an ongoing tragedy, and I don’t mean to write about it every day, but it’s so awful it can’t be ignored. Israel’s apartheid has been going on so long, people now just take it for granted and it’s become almost invisible in its banality. Listen to this Israeli TV host explain what is obvious even to those inside Israel. I guess we are to understand that Israelis feel entitled to live better than Palestinians because they are “chosen by god” or some nonsense BS like that. (If there is a god, she does not like what Israel is doing at all.)

Now that we have members of Congress who are Muslim and even at least one who has Palestinian roots, I fully expect the American government to drag its heels on this but eventually change how it deals with Israel’s brutal treatment of the Palestinian people. It has to change. And the bombing and killing has to stop.
