Usually as a feminist I’ll defend other women but not when those women are stupid or harmful to the public and the world. This video shows Marjorie Taylor Greene being insanely stupid during a Congressional hearing recently, while spouting nonsense about a topic she clearly knows nothing about – climate change – and reading her phone, probably dating/hookup sites, during the hearing. She needs to be impeached, fired, or censured, or all three. She is just too stupid and immoral to continue being a Congresswoman. Remember that earlier this year she displayed pornographic photos of sex acts on the floor of a Congressional hearing, due to her obsession with 1) SEX and 2) HUNTER BIDEN. Marjorie Taylor Greene is dangerous, stupid, harmful to the United States, and possibly insane.
Her district bothers me. It’s a beautiful area of northwestern Georgia (a state I live in) and there are colleges and plenty of schools, but it is awash in that particular brand of religious conservatism which means religion colors all their politics and opinions. It’s a cult-y area. It’s also very Trumpy. Marjorie Taylor Greene is not from her district, though, she is from Alpharetta, which is not a Trumpy city and is closer to Atlanta, so not so religious, and not so conservative. Marjorie had to move to a more conservative area to get elected to Congress because she would not have been elected from the Alpharetta area.
Like on most topics, Marjorie is dead wrong on climate change. She knows nothing about the topic, and unfortunately it’s a topic that we need to solve and solve quickly and we can’t have members of Congress telling lies about it in hearings (or anywhere) so she has to just shut up about it. Her ignorance is damaging the communication on the subject that is necessary. We can’t have “lawmakers” lying about it, as she is doing. (The idea of her being a lawmaker is in itself a crazy joke.) Climate change is a crisis all over the world, and we have to mitigate it and stop using fossil fuels. Her ignorance on the topic means she needs to never discuss it. EVER.
A lot of people don’t know this, but Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of those filthy-rich millionaire conservatives that can’t get enough money. She looooooooves money money money and more money, which is why she wants to protect oil companies and CEOs (her donors) and loves tax cuts, and hates immigrants. But she claims to be religious, so that doesn’t really fit. (Unless you believe in the Republican Jesus, who hates immigrants and loves money and tax cuts, like Marjorie.)
