Assad War Crimes Not Forgotten

With Duterte quitting politics and Bolsonaro still on the rampage in Brazil, I wondered what Bashar Assad was up to. He’s still in power. Still walking around a free man. Still propped up by Putin, and presumably, other rich people in the world. He should be accused of war crimes, and be prosecuted. Why are so many evil men still roaming the world, free and rich?

Trump is also still not in jail, despite many of us who assumed he’d be indicted by now.

I compared Trump to all of these violent despots, because underneath it all, he’s very much like them.

“Despite massive evidence of perpetrating crimes against humanity and war crimes, the Syrian regime seems to be in a state of impunity when it comes to international justice. At present, the UN peace efforts seem to be aiding Assad’s attempts to legitimize himself rather than punishing him for war crimes. The Syrian Civil Movement, a group of tens of thousands of Syrian activists and civilians who have suffered the atrocities of the ongoing dirty war in Syria, call on all those involved in finding peace for Syria to remember the truth of the war’s dynamics.”

If given the chance, Donald Trump would be just like Duterte. Just like Assad. Just like Bolsonaro. Read more here.
