Just like Trump and the Republicans did everything they could to empower white supremacists and stir them up here in the US, Netanyahu has done the same in Israel – to the point that Arab Israeli citizens are being beaten up on the streets by mobs of Israeli thugs. These violent people in Israel are not technically white supremacists but they operate on the same racist ideas. Even worse than that, Netanyahu is trying to hold on to power (4 elections in 2 years, can’t form a government, is facing criminal charges) by starting a war. He obviously wants to argue that Hamas is a terrorist organization (and Israeli violence is just fine) and therefore he needs to stay in power. The only good thing about any of this is that the knee-jerk defense of any horrible thing Israel does is starting to crack. Not with Biden, who declares that Israel has a “right to defend itself” even though it started all of this, but among others. Even among the Israel-sycophant American media.
